Getting a form photo accepted the first time
- Size in pixels: forms like bank exams give an exact size, for example 200 × 230 px. Choose Pixels and type it in.
- Size in cm or mm: passport photos and some exams give a print size, for example 3.5 × 4.5 cm. Choose cm / mm / in. The tool converts it to pixels at the DPI you set and writes that DPI into the JPG.
- KB limits: type the minimum and maximum from your notice. The tool picks the best quality that fits. If the photo is too small in KB, it is enlarged with harmless padding, so the picture itself does not change.
- Signature: sign with a black pen on white paper, take a photo in daylight, and turn on Whiten paper, darken ink. Grey shadows disappear and the ink becomes clear.
- Background: most rules ask for a plain light background. Stand in front of a white wall.
Presets follow commonly published rules, but notices change. Always compare with the current notice before you submit.
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about the photo & signature resizer tool.
How do I resize a photo to 20–50 KB?
Choose the preset Any form: photo 20–50 KB, or type 20 and 50 in the KB fields. Drop your photo and download. The result lands inside the range.
How do I make a signature 10–20 KB?
Choose a signature preset, drop a clear photo of your signature, and turn on Whiten paper, darken ink. Then download the JPG.
What does 3.5 × 4.5 cm mean in pixels?
It depends on the DPI. At 300 DPI it is 413 × 531 px, and at 200 DPI it is 276 × 354 px. Choose cm / mm / in and the tool converts it for you.
My photo is too small in KB. Can it be made bigger?
Yes. When the file is below the minimum, the tool first raises the quality, then adds harmless padding to the file. The picture looks exactly the same.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Your photo and signature never leave your device.
