How to split a PDF

  1. Drop your PDF above, or click Try a sample
  2. Choose how to split: pages I select, every page, every N pages or page ranges
  3. Click pages to select them, or type ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10
  4. Click Download. Several PDFs come together in one ZIP

Ways to split

  • Extract pages: click the pages you want and download them as one new PDF. Handy for sending only the pages a form asks for.
  • Every page: each page becomes its own PDF, named like report_page_3.pdf.
  • Every N pages: cut a long PDF into equal parts, for example every 10 pages.
  • Ranges: type 1-3, 4-6, 7-end. Each range becomes one PDF. A range written backwards, like 5-3, reverses the page order.

Nothing is redrawn, so text stays selectable and the file size stays small. Need to put files together instead? Use Merge PDF. Still too big? Compress PDF.
